Proverbs 17 - Nov. 2015

V9 - really important to apply in my life - in my marriage and in the church. Forgiving and forgetting and moving on without letting past mistakes, offenses, or short comings being rehashed - it's a true expression of love (instead of division). 1 Cor. 13:7 and 1 Peter 4:8. This really needs to be emphasized in the life of a Christian in how we handle difficult situations - James 5:18-19

V22 - I'm in the same boat here. One of my friends (in a denomination) once said that she needed to focus on "Living in Victory". Rather than focusing on the difficulties of being a Christian and overwhelmed with sin - live in joy of the victory we have in Christ.

V28 - I think of this verse often!
